IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Richland Community Center (RCC) will be closed to the public Monday, December 18, 2017 - Friday, December 22, 2017 for annual maintenance. RCC will reopen for normal business hours on December 23, 2017- December 24, 2017. In addition, the Community Center will also be closed Monday, December 25, 2017 and Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

Parks and Public Facilities Division


The Parks and Public Facilities Division maintains several amenities throughout Richland.

These include:

  • 58 City-owned parks comprised of a variety of features including:
    • playgrounds
    • athletic fields
    • turf
    • trees
    • aquatic facilities
    • sport courts
    • boat docks
    • park structures
  • 11 City municipal buildings requiring maintenance including:
    • plumbing
    • HVAC
    • carpentry
  • Eight miles of streetscaping
  • Over 23 miles of paved trails.

In 2016, there were 21 dedicated, full-time staff and over 20 seasonal employees supporting this Division.
