In June 2016, the City of Richland kicked off the next phase of the Swift Corridor Development Vision: The Planning and Design of the new Richland City Hall.
Subsequently, in October of 2017, the City broke ground on the new City Hall. The site, located adjacent to the existing facility at the corner of Swift Blvd. and Jadwin Ave., will bring together three of organization's aging facilities into one location, allowing for a “one stop shop” and added convenience for Richland citizens. Much of the underground work is underway and we look forward to seeing the building come to life. The expected project completion is Spring 2019. The existing City Hall facility, built in 1958, is in disrepair. Once vacated, the building will be demolished and the prime real estate property totaling approximately 1.5 acres will be sold for commercial development.
