Earn a Junior Ranger Badge or Pin or Just Have FUN!
Beginning Wednesday, June 24, and every other Wednesday for 12 weeks, a new interactive ranger program will begin. Participants can complete the program at their own pace. The web page will be kept active through December. Remember to check back every two weeks for new activities.
Earn a Junior Ranger patch or pin by completing six of the nine activities in the Junior Ranger Passport.
Don't live in the Tri-Cities? No problem! Mail in your completed passport (we will mail it back) or email us and we will mail your Junior Ranger pin or patch.
Week #1 -Community Resources- Engineering a Community
During this summer's Pop Up Play Days, you will explore diverse topics like how to geocache, build a beaver dam, and learn about the world-changing events of the Manhattan Project. Activities to engage your imagination and creativity also include gardening, scavenger hunts, pet yoga, and more!
While participating in any virtual recreation activity, all participants are encouraged to follow Center for Disease Control's Health, Safety and Social Distancing Guidelines. With your help, we can enjoy our parks while preserving them for future generations. To learn to Recreate Responsibly, visit the National Park Service website.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe.
