- Is swim team registration online &/or in-person?

- When will swim team/lesson assessments be?
- 6/11 & 6/12, if these times do not work for you, please visit the pool during a public swim to be assessed.
- Swim Lesson Sessions:
- First session starts Monday- Thursday (6/22- 7/2)
- Registration is open now
- Second session is planned for Monday- Thursday (7/13-7/23).
- Registration for 2nd session opens the week of July 6th
- Check back soon for additional swim lesson session dates through the rest of summer!

- What if my kid is several days shy of the age cut-off for swim team or lessons?
- We group the kids together based on age & skill. If your child is a developed swimmer, case by case circumstances can be addressed with the Aquatics Recreation Supervisor or lifeguard staff.
- When are peak public hours?
- Typically, open swim 1, but can & will vary.
- Where can we find the most up-to-date information?

- Do I have to pay to go in and sit in the bleachers while my kid swims in an open session?
- Yes, we must account for the every individual within the facility contributing to our capacity including non-swimmers.
- Do we have to leave the pool and go back in line between sessions?
- Yes, safety checks in the pool, locker room, wading area, as well as the facility itself must be completed before/ after each session. Open Swim fees are based on each session.
- Is there a phone at the pool?
- There is not a phone at the pool for public use. For emergency scenarios please notify the staff for assistance.
- The parking lot below the swimming pool accessible from Swift Blvd. will be closed for resurfacing from July 3 - the end of September. Where can I park?
- There is public street parking parking along Swift as well as public parking throughout greater Richland.
- Emergency & ADA accessible parking will be available on July 12th.
