Volunteer

There are many ways for individuals, families, businesses, and community groups to get involved and make a lasting difference in Richland’s parks and public spaces. From planting trees and maintaining trails to supporting community events and special projects, volunteers play a vital role in enhancing the quality, safety, and beauty of our parks. These partnerships not only stretch tax dollars further but also create stronger community connections and ensure that our parks remain vibrant and welcoming for generations to come. Whether you’re looking for a one-time project or an ongoing opportunity, volunteering is a meaningful way to give back and help shape the future of our community.

Litter Pick-ups:

If your group or organization is interested in organizing a litter pick-up event, please contact our City of Richland Park Ranger – Matthew Navarro for schedule availability and clean-up needs.

Youth Flag Football & Youth Basketball Coaches:
Richland Recreation is always looking for dedicated volunteers to coach for our Youth Basketball and Flag Football programs.  Oftentimes, the coaches are parents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, grandparents or family friends’ of program participants.
