Due to forecasted unhealthy air quality from wildfire smoke across the Pacific Northwest, National Night Out & City Fair scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, has been rescheduled to:
- Thursday, August 20, from 5:00–7:30 p.m. at Howard Amon Park.
Out of an abundance of caution, and with information provided by the WA State Department of Ecology and Benton Clean Air Agency, the City determined postponing the event is the best decision to protect the health and safety of our community, volunteers, vendors, public safety personnel, and City staff.
We know many of you were looking forward to tomorrow’s event, and we appreciate your understanding. We look forward to seeing you on August 20!

National Night Out is a nationwide event that strengthens the partnership between residents, law enforcement, and City departments while promoting safer, stronger neighborhoods. It's a great opportunity to meet the people who serve our community, learn about City services, and enjoy an evening in one of Richland's most beautiful parks.
